Detroit Mom Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt + Coloring Pages

Our neighborhood egg hunt is a tradition we started a couple of years ago that our kids love and we want to keep it going again this year. For anyone who is not attending a community-wide event, you can have fun again this year with our neighborhood Easter egg hunt.

With a little help from your neighbors, you can participate in an egg hunt, too. Just color some eggs and put them in your windows! This egg hunt works best if lots of neighbors get in on the fun. So, spread the word to your friends and neighbors and get ready to go on an epic egg hunt!

This is just another way for our communities to come together for one another. It allows our kids to get involved, show the love, and have some fun. You could even print a few extra coloring sheets and deliver them to your neighbors. It’s so much fun for kids to walk by their friends’ homes and see the eggs in the windows, too!

How It Works

Start by downloading and printing the Easter egg coloring page.

Then, decorate your favorite egg any way you want!

Display your egg(s) in your windows by Wednesday, April 5th.

Neighborhood Egg Hunt: April 6th-9th

Go on a walk to see how many eggs you can find! *Don’t forget* to take a picture of the beautiful eggs you find and tag @detroitmoms on social media! Let’s see how many neighborhoods get represented! You can follow us on Instagram if you aren’t already, so you can stay up-to-date on all things local + motherhood. Happy Easter!
