Family Friendly Fishing Spots to Enjoy Free Fishing This Weekend

0

For the 24th year in a row, Michigan is offering a free fishing weekend statewide. This Saturday and Sunday, June 13 and 14, Michigan will host a family friendly fishing weekend to allow children (and adults!) the opportunity to perfect a hobby. And — the weather is looking just right to drop a line and make some memories!

Special events that are normally held during this weekend have been canceled due to the coronavirus, but families are still encouraged to get out and enjoy the weekend on the state’s many lakes and rivers. They that you observe six-foot social distancing, or you can try to snag a remote spot to yourself. We’ve compiled a list of all the top spots to check out in and around Detroit for a fun weekend. Good luck, anglers!
