Family-Friendly Fishing Spots to Enjoy Free Fishing This Weekend

For the 25th year in a row, Michigan is offering a free fishing weekend statewide. This Saturday and Sunday, June 12 and 13, Michigan will host a family-friendly fishing weekend to allow children (and adults!) the opportunity to perfect a hobby. And — the weather is looking just right to drop a line and make some memories!

We’ve compiled a list of all the top spots to check out in and around Detroit for a fun weekend. Good luck, anglers!
