Celebrate Soup Month with These Comforting Recipes

The hustle and bustle of the holidays are behind us, and now it’s time to settle in for a cozy winter. One thing that I just love for dinner on a cold winter night is a hot, satisfying bowl of soup. (Bonus- there’s usually leftovers for lunch the next day!).

I think it’s no coincidence that January is National Soup Month! I’m here to offer a variety of soup recipes you and your family can enjoy. Some are hearty and indulgent while others are mindful of our New Year’s resolutions.

Below is a compilation of favorite recipes from our contributors. We’d love to hear what yours are! You can also find more by visiting our Pinterest board dedicated just to soup.

The Recipes

My personal fave is this Southwest Detox Soup. This soup is like the traditional good-for-you cabbage soup but with a huge flavor kick, perfect for recovering from our holiday indulgences!

Next up is another blogger’s favorite: Cheeseburger Soup. This one will be great for those football playoffs and Super Bowl Sunday.

We can’t write a blog post around soup without including one of the most classic soups known: tomato soup. This Tomato Bisque recipe even comes complete with grilled cheese dippers that will make the whole family happy!

Last, but certainly not least, is a classic with a healthy twist. This Clean Eating Turkey Chili is sure to warm you up and satisfy you without feeling heavy.

We hope you enjoy these recipes as much as we have testing them for you! Stay warm and snuggled during the winter ahead and share with us some of your favorite soup recipes! And don’t forget, our Pinterest page has these recipes along with so many other helpful tidbits for every type of mom.
