East Michigan

The “sunrise side” of Michigan offers many hidden gems—from quaint and uncrowded beach towns to unique things to do, the east coast of Michigan has many opportunities for a fun getaway. Popular with travelers of all transport, the Huron coast boasts beautiful campgrounds, beaches, and marinas with overnight docking or mooring for the boating crowd. Once you get north of Bay City, you won’t find any metropolitan areas along Lake Huron, and that’s just the way we like it when we’re on vacation.
