October is by far one of my favorite months. There are so many fun things to do! With Halloween just a couple of days away, we want to share our top five things to do to get ready for Halloween.
You already know how we feel about this one over here at Detroit Mom. It’s a team favorite and a family tradition. With Halloween being so close, there will be tons of houses decorated. Now is the perfect time to visit. Learn more by checking out Terror on Tillson: Everything You Need to Know Before Visiting.

Hit the Pumpkin Patch
If you haven’t already bought a dozen or so pumpkins for your porch, it’s time to grab some from our favorite local pumpkin patches. Then, them home and either paint or carve them up just in time for Halloween. Don’t forget to light them on trick or treat night!
