Detroit Mom’s Travel Series: Charlevoix

One of my most-treasured family vacations was a couple of summers ago when we traveled up north to Charlevoix. My grandfather had passed away two months prior, and our family really needed some time together. While the vacation was planned before he had passed away, it absolutely fell into the calendar at just the right time.

My siblings came from out of state, and together with our parents, we drove up north and enjoyed a much-needed week away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. We were able to stay on the water, the little cousins ran around and played together, and each day was restful and easy. Charlevoix is truly a magical place. So, if you’re headed that way this summer, I wanted to give some ideas of what to do while you’re there!

The view outside of our condo. Absolutely beautiful!
