20+ Places to Get Hot Cocoa Bombs In + Around Detroit

As you saw through the holidays, Hot Cocoa Bombs are all the rage. After purchasing before Christmas, I can totally see why. This year, local bakers, chocolatiers, and cafes took drinking hot cocoa to another level. They turned your ordinary hot cocoa into a gourmet ball of goodness. The inside is a complete surprise considering you have no idea what to expect when that chocolatey outer shell melts. It could be traditional marshmallows or something completely unexpected. Now that they’ve had a little time to perfect them, they’re coming out with Valentine’s Day ones as well as custom orders. Many places have also added them to their regular offerings.

PRO TIP: If you see some you want, order them. They sell out fast! I say this because it’s happened to me on numerous occasions. Also, check their deadlines for ordering. Not everyone has them on hand or they may just be making them during a certain period of time. The demand is high, so don’t delay. Sometimes, they might be sold out, but still making more for upcoming weeks, so keep checking!

  1. High Octane Bakery in Bloomfield has amazing hot cocoa bombs… we went for our usual spicy chorizo stuffed bagels (also divine! 😋) but got roped into their hot cocoa bombs by our little one and were super impressed!
