Book of the Month: My Wife is Missing by DJ Palmer
Synopsis
Michael Hart discovers his wife and two children have disappeared from their New York City hotel room while on family vacation. He fears they’ve been taken and sets a police search into action immediately. But things take a turn when he discovers that his wife, Natalie, appears to have left quite willingly, taking their children with her. But there may be a reason why Natalie ran, a secret Michael can’t tell the police. While facing his past might help find his wife, it might also be the cause of his demise.
Natalie thinks she has Michael all figured out and has hatched a plan to escape from him forever. Since she found out about her husband’s secrets, Natalie’s insomnia has worsened and she now suffers from delusions. While running away and running low on sleep, she second guesses herself constantly. Are her fears about Michael valid–or a symptom of her condition?
