Beacon Park Lights + Dinner | Detroit

A 1.2-acre urban park with open lawn space, interactive art and light installations, and room to relax or socialize. Check out their winter light displays and then head to Lumen or a nearby restaurant for dinner after.

Belle Isle Conservatory | Detroit

The Belle Isle Conservatory (officially the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory) is a historic greenhouse and botanical garden on Belle Isle Park in Detroit. It’s warm with tropical greenhouse vibes in the dead of winter for a quiet, romantic, mental reset.

Cadillac Lodge | Detroit

Cadillac Lodge is a seasonal outdoor lodge-style bar and hangout located inside Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit. It pops up mainly in the winter months and is part of the park’s holiday setup. It has cozy indoor ski lodge vibes with drinks and snacks for purchase.

Campus Martius Park | Detroit

Campus Martius is a central public park in downtown Detroit, often called the city’s main gathering place. During the winter it is host to the large decorated Christmas tree and a skating rink. You can expect cozy lights, city energy, and an easy walk to nearby cafés!

Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle is a popular comedy club where you can catch live stand-up comedy shows featuring national and touring comedians as well as local acts. It’s warm and intimate and honestly, laughing together is one of the fastest ways to reconnect.

Detroit Axe | Corktown + Ferndale

Detroit Axe is a dedicated axe-throwing entertainment venue in the Detroit area where you go to throw real axes at wooden targets in a fun, social environment. It’s part sport, part activity bar, and perfect for groups, parties, dates, or just trying something new. It’s perfect if you want a date night that is active, slightly competitive, and surprisingly fun!

Fowling Warehouse | Hamtramck

Fowling Warehouse Detroit is a popular entertainment venue centered around a unique social game and bar experience. It is a large indoor space where you play fowling, a game that mixes football and bowling. Players throw a football at bowling pins trying to knock them all down. It’s fun, loud, low-pressure “football bowling.” Great if you both need a night to let loose!
