Make it a Motown Twist by adding soft serve to the top and bottom of water ice flavors like Banana Peanut Butter, Cobo Coconut, and Honolulu Blue Raspberry. Most people head here for the food (I’ve been eyeing their Panchos) and over-the-top hot chocolate. Let’s just put it this way, Garrido’s Bistro and Pastry has been featured on the Travel Channel, so you know it’s good. They are a Latin-American bistro and that alone makes us want to check it out. To the dessert lover, they are known for their insanely good frozen sweet treats. You’ve probably seen those Instagram-worthy photos of extreme towering milkshakes floating around. The walk-up window for this cute little shop will make you instantly fall in love. Not to mention, their custard is delish! They keep it simple with chocolate and vanilla, or you can have the best of both worlds with a twist.
