Combine the indoors and outdoors and meet various animals at Bower’s and explore their Open Barns. A private room is available to mingle and eat. Hosts can bring their own cake and coordinate food through Bower’s. Decorations can be brought in or purchased through them. Other activities are available on-site, depending on the time of year.
GP Zoology | Grosse Pointe Woods
Calling all animal lovers! At a GP Zoology birthday party, you can tour the facility and enjoy a guided animal encounter with 12 animals. Staff are friendly and knowledable and the presentation is fun for all ages. There are different party options that include food, or you can bring your own. Hosts can bring in their own decor as well or have the party room decorated for them. Guests can hold, feed, and interact with a variety of animals in a private reserved space.
Michigan Science Center | Detroit
Experience all that the Michigan Science Center has to offer at your next birthday party. Packages vary and can include a private party space and even a hands-on science activity! Galleries include space, health, motion, nanoscience, a STEM playground, and more!
Modern Skate & Surf | Royal Oak
Strap on the wheels of your choice and skate away at Modern Skatepark in Royal Oak. A private party room is available to rent and hosts can bring in all of their own food and supplies. Discounted equipment rental is available for your guests, or bring your own. A signed waiver is required. Full protective gear is required for all skaters under 12; these are also available to rent.

You can do a structured party in their original gymnastics building (ages 6+), or a free play party in their Preschool Gym (under 6). They also have both an Indoor Ropes Course (ages 6+) and a Munchkin Ropes Course for younger partygoers. You can also host a pool party in their large pool or explore their new “Towers” structure. Combination parties are available too, so there is truly something for everyone.
